How a day is set up today
1. One event for the day, one session per talk. Open playklapp.com/arrangement
and sign in with Google or Microsoft. Give the event the title of the day and tick what the room can expect:
questions, quiz, polls. Split the day into sessions. Each session can have its own Q&A. The event gets a six-digit code, and everyone joins with it at playklapp.com/join.
2. Polls and quiz in the running order. Add them from the event page. One quiz per event is
free, and the event package holds three. Anything you add waits until you start it.
3. The canvas links in the presentation. The canvas is what the room sees on the big
screen. The event page gives you one link for the code, one for each poll and quiz, and one for the question
wall, plus a QR slide to download as a 16:9 image. Paste them into the slides. They show a waiting screen
until you tap on your phone, and every link opens in the same window, so each click replaces the last.
4. Steer from your phone. The event page shows a QR code. Scan it with the phone you want
as the remote. It works once, for five minutes, and whoever scans it steers the event, so keep it away from
the big screen. From the phone you start the next poll or quiz, show the result and end the event.
5. The speaker's own slides for Q&A. On playklapp.com/qa
the speaker adds PDF, PowerPoint, Word or plain text, chooses whether to approve questions first, and picks
a size. It is paid before the talk, so nobody waits for a bank app on stage. An event whose Q&A never
opens is refunded automatically.
Who makes the event. One person holds each event. On a day with several speakers, either
each speaker makes their own event and gives you the code for your program, or you make all of them and put
in the slides you are given. There is no way yet to invite a speaker into your event.
