Nobody writes the questions · Not even you

Type a topic.

The room is playing, minutes after you type it.

A quiz for whoever has to stand in front of a room and make it come alive.

Free · No account · No cap on the room

Or play five questions alone, right here →

Nobody prepped

No library, no template, no questions to write. Different ones every time.

Nobody left out

Eight at a table or a few hundred in an all-hands. We never charge for the size of your room.

Nobody too slow

The clock makes the drama. It does not score, and the host can switch it off. Points come from how sure you were.

Nobody looks down

Answers sit in a cross. Swipe the direction. Your eyes stay on the room, not on a button.

/ Where it plays

With a big screen, or without one.

The question and the four answers are on every phone too, so a big screen helps but is not required.

  • In the same room. A TV or projector shows the question, and everyone answers on their own phone.
  • On a video call. Share the big screen in the call. People in the room and at home join with the same code.
  • In a conference hall. One code for the whole hall, and no cap on the room. What we have load-tested is on the load test page.
  • Just phones. No screen at all: each player reads the question on their own phone.

/ The moment it is built around

Who was sure?

Everyone answers inside the same window, and when you locked it in never counts. The reveal shows the answer, and it shows who said they were certain. You lose by being wrong, or by being too sure. Never by being slow.

Q4 / 10 24 of 30 in
1969 correct
Keen Whale was certain +500
Sour Panda was certain −250

01 / a topic

Ten minutes awake

Write a topic, get a playable round in a minute or two — the slowest one we have measured took two and a half. You read every question before the room sees it.

How a round plays

02 / a document

Your own slides

Just presented something? Hand over the deck and the questions come from it — you find out what the room actually caught. We never store the file. A PDF or an image is read by our model provider, Anthropic.

What happens to the file

03 / the players

Nothing about players kept

Names are handed out unless you say the room is adults only. Nothing about the players is kept after the game. The topic you typed is logged for 30 days.

/ More than one round

One code for the whole talk.

An event keeps the same code and QR from your first slide to your last. Run a quiz, then another, and steer it all from your phone while the big screen follows. Paste the screen links into your own slides beforehand. Free when you sign in with Google or Microsoft.

Q&A lets the room ask during the talk. klapp drafts each answer from your slides and shows the quote it used; you decide what goes on the screen. Paid per session, from 119 kr for 100 answers, and an event with several sessions pays for all of them in one payment.

A quiz round inside a presentation or lecture has its own page: klapp for presentations — three ways to use it, how it works in three steps, what it costs, and four questions answered.

The quiz is free.

Hosting a quiz and playing it cost nothing, with no account and no card. Eight around a table or a few hundred in an all-hands, the size of the room is never the price, and players never pay for anything. Ready-made quizzes for an occasion are sold on Etsy, and in Norway the event package and Q&A have a price. Pricing · what is free, and what the catch is.
