klapp and Slido
What each costs, and what each does.
This page is for the person who runs Q&A and polls in a talk or at an event, knows Slido, and wants to see what klapp does differently. Every cell about Slido is taken from Slido's own pages and dated. Where those pages do not say, the cell reads “not stated”.
The short version
Two differences. klapp has no participant limit at any price, and in its paid Q&A klapp drafts each answer from your own slides and shows the quote it used. Slido's plans are sized by participants, from 100 to 5,000, and do more around the Q&A: ranking polls, surveys, Excel and PDF exports, co-hosts, rooms and integrations.
All the rows next to Mentimeter, Slido, Kahoot! 360 and Pigeonhole Live at once are in the comparison table.

Sources for the Slido column: Slido pricing, one-time plans with the details of each plan opened, Slido pricing, annual plans and Slido features, all read on 13 October 2026. Prices are the ones Slido showed a visitor in Norway that day, in euros. The klapp column is from pricing. klapp prices are the amount charged; Cadence AS is not registered for VAT, so none is added. klapp’s euro prices are its own, tax included, sold outside Norway through Link, Stripe’s merchant of record.
When Slido is the better choice
You need more than Q&A, polls and a quiz. Slido has word clouds, open text, rating and ranking polls, and surveys. klapp has word clouds, open text and a 1–5 scale, but no ranking poll or survey.
You need the results in a file. Slido exports to Google Sheets, Excel or PDF from Engage. klapp has one HTML file per event, with no spreadsheet or PDF.
You present from PowerPoint, Teams or Zoom and want it built in. Slido lists those integrations on every plan. In klapp you paste links into your slides. How that works is on the PowerPoint, Teams and Zoom page.
Someone else moderates, or the event has several rooms. Slido has co-hosts on every plan and multiple rooms from Professional. klapp has one host and one room per event, with many sessions that each have their own Q&A, and a moderator link for the Q&A.
Your organisation asks for single sign-on. Slido lists single sign-on on Premium and Enterprise; klapp has none. The event package is €29 per event outside Norway, sold through Link.
When klapp is the better choice
You do not know how many will come. There is no participant limit in klapp, so the size of the room never decides the plan. The largest room measured is 10,240 synthetic clients in one game, on the load test page. No real room that size has played yet.
You want help answering the room. In the paid Q&A the room asks, klapp drafts each answer from your own slides and shows the quote it used, and you decide what goes on the screen.
You pay for one talk. Q&A is paid per session, from €12, and refunded automatically if the Q&A is never opened to the room. An event with quizzes and polls is free when you sign in.
You want a quiz without writing it. Type a topic or hand over a document, read the questions, play. How a talk runs is on klapp for presentations.
What this page does not claim
“Not stated” means the pages we read did not say. It does not mean Slido cannot do it. Slido may change its prices and plans after 13 October 2026; the date at the top changes only when we have read the pages again. No event organiser has told us they moved from Slido to klapp, so there are no quotes here. klapp deploys often; a running game is saved and usually goes on after a restart, but try the room before the day.
