Lag costs nothing
Screen sharing reaches some people a second late. That does not matter here: being quick earns nothing. Hold your answer down to show how sure you are. Sure and right earns extra, sure and wrong loses points.
At the online Christmas party
Some in the office, some at home. Put the big screen on the meeting room TV and share it in the call at the same time. Everyone joins with the same code, wherever they sit.
Try it alone first. Open the quiz, join with your own phone and look at the shared window from a second device. Two minutes before the party saves the awkward start.
A quiz about your own year. Open /host, type «our year as a team» or the name of the project, and klapp writes ten questions. You read them before anyone else sees them, and drop the ones you do not want.
Four questions before the call

Does the delay in the video call matter? No. Being quick earns nothing. Points come from the right answer and from how sure you were, so someone whose screen share arrives late is not behind.
Do people need an app or an account? No. Players answer in the phone browser. Nothing is installed and nobody signs up or hands over an email address.
Is the virtual Christmas quiz free? Yes. The five Christmas questions are free with no limit. A full set of 30 is sold on Etsy, and your own quizzes are free as a trial with an hourly limit. The sets are listed on /christmas-quiz, the limits on /free.
Before you rely on it
Everyone needs a phone. The laptop shows the call, the phone takes the answers. Someone without a phone can answer in a second browser window instead.
Five questions is a warm-up. If the quiz is the main event, take a full set of 30 or make your own.
